Cell phone etiquette

1. If you truly must take/make a call while driving please do the rest of us a favor and pull off the road.

2. If you truly must make a private phone call in a public place please understand that others around you CAN hear that information and not everyone is honest nor does everyone want to hear your private information.

3. If you find yourself on the phone while in line at the grocery, at the gas station, checking into your hotel or other similar situations be courteous enough to put the phone down to complete your transaction.

4. If you must have your phone with you while in a restaurant, at the movies, at a sporting event or other similar situations be courteous enough to turn the phone on vibrate and also to leave the area if you must take/make a call.

5. If you find yourself in a public bathroom please have enough respect for those around you not to take/make a phone call.

So...whater ya sayin? You don't like cell phones? Why don't you think one should sit on the toilet & talk? Doesn't it help you "go" faster/better to hear the gossip?

Hope you're doing great, Polly!

I was witness to a minor traffic accident about a year ago. A woman ran a red light and struck a car already in the intersection on a green light.

The first thing the woman who ran the red light did was toss the cellphone on which she had been talking into the back seat.

The second thing she did was look up and realize I had seen her do it.

The last thing I saw her doing was getting charged by the police with reckless driving.

Before hubby and I left for vacation we were rear ended by a young lady who was on her cell phone (she also claimed she couldnt see the red light because she forgot her sun glasses )

I have never encountered anyone who is able to drive responsibly and be on a cell phone at the same time.

Thanks for stopping by!

No, Miss Secret I dont hate them at all.

Why I absolutely love being in one of those echo chamber public bathrooms trying to do my business while the person next to me chats away.

I really hate when somebody is in the next stall talking on the cell phone and I don't realize they are talking to somebody else.

I was sitting there one day when I heard this woman say.. "Hey... hey there.... What are you doing?"

I thought she was talking to me so I answered her while all along wondering why the heck she wanted to know what I was doing in my stall. After all we both were in there and probably doing the same thing.

Then she had the nerve to be rude and say- Do you mind, I'm trying to talk on the phone here!"

Wellllllll excccuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuze me!

I wish someone would explain to me why cell phone calls in public bathrooms are necessary?

I have yet to hear one call that is an actual emergency. They are ususally along the lines of, "hey, what are you doing?"

The last one was a conversation between realtor (in the stall next to me) and client. I did comment as I was leaving about how incredibly gross it was.
