It's hard to narrow it down to just one but I'd have to say going to the beach for vacation. Summer just can't get here soon enough for me

Hi Polly!!! Let's see... summer.... I'm just ready to enjoy the SUN!

We really do enjoy going to all the flea markets down in the Searsport area a few times over the summer. There's a sandy beach about 45 min. from where we live and I enjoy taking the girls there. We try to go hiking at least twice at Acadia National Park (try is the focus word, here...) My parents in law have a little beach cottage over in Canada that we enjoy going to for the occassional weekend. We also keep trying to get to the Blue Hill fair in August. There's a bunch of horse shows that we hope to attend. And, this summer after the barn is built we are excited for Mom C and Papa to have horses over here. Also, part of the garden was planted today so I am so excited for fresh veggies. I think most plans this year depend on finances, especially in the needing to pay for gas prices...

It will be interesting to see if you find the motel you work at is as busy this coming tourist season compared to others...

Have a great day!
Cheers! ~MacKenzie

Now there is a part of Maine I havent explored

We try to go hiking at least twice at Acadia National Park (try is the focus word, here...)

I have to get to Acadia this year! I have lived in Maine 8 years now and have yet to explore that amazing park!

Gas prices

Hubby and I had planned on a road trip from Maine to Texas early next spring and now we are having to rethink that because of gas prices. Its insane how expensive it is! And since we drive 400+ miles a week for work it just makes me

I have been talking with our sales manager about business. He seems to think we will be okay because we have a lot of group/tour business booked. I have to admit Im a little Hubby and I both work in hotels and its scary to think how all of this will effect us.

Speaking of... I should be working now

Hugs!!

Oh, how exciting... NYC! Hubby and I just visited in December and we had so much fun! It was the first time for both of us. If they happen to go on a tour of the city I reccomend On Board Tours - its a smaller tour and the tour guides are amazing! You can get discounts on NY Tix I think I paid $3 for the discount codes and saved $40 on the tour. Oh, and we really enjoyed Madame Tussauds New York

Hugs!

I did the Madame Tussauds when I went with Mom a couple of years ago.
I couldn't believe how realistic the characters were.
