First a bit of bragging rights!

So, earlier I said I would post every now and then about how I was doing with my exercise routine. Well, last week I decided to set a goal and I achieved it. Twenty miles in one week (on the exercise bike)!!
I think I will probably stick with 20 miles a week at least for a couple months.
And now off to the cemetery

I went to one of the local cemeteries earlier this week and shot what I think are some great photos. But...
I can’t upload them onto my laptop! You know the cable that connects the camera to the laptop? Well, for some bizarre reason a tiny little part is missing. And this is my brand new digital camera!
I don’t know if it was left out at the factory or if it’s something they expect you to buy. If so that is just plain insane!
But I had a lot fun checking out some really cool tombstones in an incredible cemetery. Some of the stones are so old that you cannot read them anymore
This is one of the reasons I have decided that I want to be cremated. It just depresses me that families spend so much money on funeral services, the plot and the stone and then either become lazy or there is no one left to care for the stone. When Ghost was involved with the Paranormal group I was really troubled to hear stories of grave shifting. The graves shift due to natural circumstances, storms, vibration from traffic, etc. And then there are the cases where cemeteries have to be moved due to construction.
This is supposed to be your final “resting” place! One of the towns in Northern Maine was purchased by the electric company and then flooded and made into a lake. The whole area seriously creeps me out! But that aside... I just cannot imagine having to dig up my loved ones and MOVE them!

*Sigh*
Until next time...
